The Will Hand Swimmers of the Week
10 and Under:
-Lilly Fontenot: Lilly has had an amazing season, dropping time in all but one event and earning personal bests at nearly every meet! This week, she also showed incredible resilience, overcoming a tough situation before her 100 IM and still swimming a fantastic race. Her hard work, determination, and positive attitude have made a huge impact on the team all season long. Way to go Lilly!!
-Gunn Murphy: Gunn had a great meet this week stepping up and swimming on the A Medley Relay while also being one of the team's biggest supporters, cheering on his teammates poolside throughout the entire meet. His hard work and dedication at practice have continued to pay off, and his positive attitude and team spirit make him an invaluable part of the Green Giants. Gunn hung up the phone, great job!
11 and Up:
-Evelyn Mizell: Evelyn has been an outstanding teammate all season, consistently showing up to practice and being involved in team activities and social outings. She is always willing to help with our Guppies and is a wonderful role model for younger swimmers. This week, she earned 10.75 points for the team and continued to demonstrate what a strong swimmer and teammate she is. Congratulations, Evelyn!
-Davis Greenwell: Davis has been a consistent presence at practice all season, always working hard and bringing his love for swimming to the pool each day. This week, he earned 6 points in his individual events and dropped time in both races. Whether it's a workout or a fun competition at practice, Davis is always ready to jump in and give it his best. Great job Davis!
